Green Teams Canada ~ Educational Plant Signage

This project includes a series of 10 educational signs that identify both native and invasive plants found throughout the Lower Mainland of BC. “Green Team program manager Ashton Kerr said the new signs are a fun way to engage and educate people about the local environment and the group’s activities that help connect young people to their natural environs. She added they’ll also encourage people to keep an eye out for local plants and how to protect them.” Read more in the TriCity News

Duets: The Dance of Symbiotic Relationships

This project’s focus is to highlight the use of botanical art to promote educational awareness of the intricate interdependence of plant species within tropical ecosystems – as well as our own dependence on plants. The goal is to share the importance of biodiversity and contribute to habitat preservation by connecting people to nature through art.
